About us

We live on a countryside beside city of Tampere. Sighthound are our hobby, so it is all of us in the family that are interested about wellbeing about our dogs. I, Päivi Härkönen, have lived among all kind of animals during my childhood and learned a lot from them. So this is something I prefer to our daughter too. My first IW arrived from Kennel Brokenwheel in year -93 and ever since Brokenwheels have been part of our family. From Mr.Brokenwheel = K.Roms we have learned a lot, hopefully all the best. As long as Brokenwheel keeps on turnin' there will be a Brokenwheel at our home. Greyhounds have been on our joy just from -01, because Brokenwheel doesn't breed greyhounds we had to do it ourselves.

My husband Kari Lehtomaa is very much in this hobby, he has been living this sighthound-life too. He is more keen about coursing&track and computer-stuff (Apple-Linux and other 010101-liturgian).

About all of our dogs it is important that they are loved just the way they are, whether are they healthy, functional and beautiful -or all of that. Friends who are truly priceless just to be with us. This is our goal and purpose, and that's a lot.
